Steelbor XL Annular Cutters are used with larger magnetic drilling machines that take the 31.75mm Weldon shank. They are designed for heavier-duty broaching applications where the machine, cutter size and shank connection need to match.

The larger shank size gives the correct interface for compatible high-capacity magnet drills, helping users work with larger cutters and more demanding holemaking setups. This is important when standard 19.05mm Weldon shank tooling is not suitable for the machine or application.
